Since its inception in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a nationwide movement that kicks off a season of charity and philanthropy. Held the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, many Americans show their generosity of spirit by supporting local charities and non-profit organizations through online donations during this season of giving. The Worcester County Education Foundation (WCEF) is participating alongside many other local charities in #GivingTuesday through Community Foundation’s The Shore Gives More campaign.
As a friend of the Worcester County Education Foundation, we ask that you please support us and the students of Worcester County by visiting ShoreGivesMore.org’s WCEF page on Tuesday, November 28, to make a donation of your choosing. We also encourage you to please spread the word of this campaign with your friends and family through social media, so we can reach others embracing the #GivingTuesday spirit.
We hope you will join your neighbors across the Eastern Shore by visiting The Shore Gives More on #GivingTuesday – no matter the size of the gift. Each dollar will help the Worcester County Education Foundation continue its support of further enhancing the quality education of the 6,700 students in Worcester County Public Schools.
If you have any questions about #GivingTuesday and the Foundation’s involvement, please contact Hope Palmer by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your continued support!
