Executive Committee

Raymond M. Thompson age 58, is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member of Calvin B. Taylor Bankshares, Inc., and Calvin B. Taylor Bank.  He was appointed President of the company and the bank in May 2002, and Chief Executive Officer of the company and the bank in January 2006.  Mr. Thompson was a Vice President and Senior Loan Officer of Calvin B. Taylor Bank from 1997 to 2002.  Prior to joining Calvin B. Taylor Bank, Mr. Thompson held officer positions with Atlantic Bank (1996-1997), and NationsBank, Maryland National Bank, and Equitable Bank (1985-1996), with extensive experience in commercial lending and credit administration.

Mr. Thompson graduated from Western Maryland College (now McDaniel College) in May 1984, and the ABA/Stonier Graduate School of Banking, Georgetown University, in June 2006.  Mr. Thompson currently serves on the boards of the Maryland Banker’s Association, Worcester County Public Schools Education Foundation, and Berlin Heritage Foundation.  Mr. Thompson also serves as the Maryland. Representative to the American Bankers Association Membership Council and Community Bankers Council. Am is a member of the Atlantic General Hospital Corporation.  Mr. Thompson is also a member and past treasurer of the Berlin Lions Club.

Toni Keiser is the Vice President of Public Relations for Atlantic General Hospital and Health System. She has served in a leadership role with the local community hospital for the past 20 years overseeing marketing, communications, the hospital’s auxiliary, and fundraising where she has with the support of the foundation and the community successfully conducted 3 capital campaigns to increase hospital programs and services. Toni is also currently the Chairperson for the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, serving on the Chambers Executive Committee, Legislative, Scholarship and Special Events Committees; Secretary of the Board of Directors for Hudson Behavioral Health, serves on the Ocean City Drug and Alcohol Abuse and Prevention Committee, American Cancer Society Tri-County Leadership Committee, Maryland Hospital Association Community Connections Advisory Board, Maryland Association of Directory of Volunteers, AGH Foundation Board of Directors, and AGH Junior Auxiliary Group. Toni resides in West Ocean City with her husband and dog Brutus.  Both of her sons attended Worcester County Public schools and graduated from Stephen Decatur High School.

Susan Trimble joined Bank of Ocean City in August of 2010 and currently holds the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Salisbury University and her Master in Business Administration from Frostburg State University. Trimble has over 20 years of accounting experience and is a licensed certified public accountant.  She is a member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and committee member of the BOC Employees’ Charitable Contribution Committee.

Louis H. Taylor, a lifelong resident of Worcester County, currently holds the position of COO/Assistant Superintendent for Administration of Worcester County Public Schools. A graduate of Stephen Decatur High School (SDHS), he went on to pursue his Undergraduate and Graduate degrees at Salisbury University. He is a 31-year employee of the Worcester County Public School system, where he served as the principal of SDHS for 17 years (1995-2012). During his tenure there, SDHS became the first Maryland Blue Ribbon School for Worcester County. Additionally, Mr. Taylor was the 1998-1999 Principal of the Year for the State of Maryland. Currently, in his spare time, he serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Atlantic General Hospital, Board Member for both Hudson Health Services and the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore, and a director for Calvin B. Taylor Bank.

Chad Vent a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School, is now a partner with Faw Casson Certified Public Accountants and Business Consultants. Chad obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Magna Cum Laude, from Salisbury University, He has been serving the Ocean City and surrounding areas since 2000 as an active in his community, donating his time as the Chair of the Worcester County Advisory Board for Eastern Shore Junior Achievement and to the Ocean City Recreation Department as a coach.

Chad will do whatever he can to be outside. Whether it’s with his family grilling and relaxing, playing with the kids out on the beach or going out with the guys for some fishing and golf, as long as he’s outdoors he’s a happy man. He treasures his quality “Dad Time”, coaching his children and reading with them. He assures that regardless of his work load, his family knows they are always his top priority.

Greg Shockley opened his popular Irish restaurant, Shenanagans, on the boardwalk 20 years ago. He is past president of the Ocean City Hotel-Motel-Restaurant Association and is a founding member of Ocean City’s Boardwalk Development Association, which implemented $5 million in improvements to the boardwalk. As president of Ocean City Development Corporation – a local nonprofit – and a former member of the Restaurant Association of Maryland’s board of directors, he is active in promoting Ocean City’s hospitality industry. He currently serves on the Maryland Tourism Development Board, representing Ocean City and Worcester County. He and his wife Susie have twin boys.

Greg Shockley

Annette Wallace earned her doctorate in school leadership from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, her master’s from Wilmington University and her bachelor’s from Salisbury University. She is a Sunday school teacher at the church she has attended since birth and recently joined the board of the local homeless shelter. In 2018, she was recognized as a Maryland Outstanding Leader Using Technology by the Maryland Society of Education Technology.

In 2016, she was named Maryland High School Principal of the Year and last year she became chief operating officer of the school system. She is also the academic officer for grades 9-12, which allows her to provide leadership at the high school level on everything from curriculum development to Advanced Placement opportunities.
